On Mathematical Methods (14/3/24)
I forgot that I missed a Methods class last Wednesday for a leadership thing, and we were starting a new topic. I walked into my first Methods class since then today like 'huh when we starting the new topic'.
I am now behind on on Four Exercises Of Work.
Doesn't mean I don't love my Methods class though. Here's some personal highlights:
Walking into my first class last year and realising none of my best friends are in that class. Immediately being told by a girl I'd only done footy with that I was sitting next to her. She's really cool!
Her 'beef' (???? It's like friendly bickering) with one of the guys in one of the rows in front (and to the left. We sit against the right wall)
The girl who always pronounces my name wrong but is really nice
The girl who sits next to her is also really nice but I've been in a million of her classes for some reason so she knows my name lolol
The guy who I was convinced hated math. I mean, he keeps complaining about wanting to transfer to General Maths. But he didn't fail
Unlike the guy who sits next to the guy my friend bickers with. He... he failed. He's really cool, though. Basketball watcher. Not afraid to talk about it. We call him Eric (that isn't his name)
One of the guys who sits across the room and definitely has interesting thoughts
Our teacher is literally awesome. Like. A stern kinda awesome. At least she can teach good (unlike my friends' teachers rip)
It's such a small class!!!! This is good!!! yesss!!!
I dunno we have good chats sometimes and then our teacher's like 'oi do your work' but we're like 'miss what do you think??' AND SHE'LL TELL YOU but you have to do the work. which is yk. fair. love that
Oh my god my teacher last year for this class deadass went 'you guys are probably here because you got like 90% and above or something. well uhh prepare for that to tank to like 70% because this is Hard Math™️ and i go 'i am not prepared for that'
that is like. my motivation. i am not prepared for my scores to tank so they... wont!
totally not writing this to avoid doing the Four Exercises Of Work due at some point.......
